Something else from Singapore…

We could not leave Singapore without trying the hawker food, especially the chilli crab. So we met Amar, Neeti, Avani and Clement at the Telok Ayer Market the evening before we left Singapore. This market is an historic monument, taking an entire block in the centre of the business district. It has just been refurbished at a cost of several million SGD, and looks really special. If you are visiting, we can strongly recommend an evening here. And so to the food… Chilli crab, satay sticks, grilled langoustine, steamed buns, vegetable cake, crispy baby squid, noodles, chilli broccoli stems, and I am sure I missed a couple of things, oh yes, and plenty of cool beer to wash it all down…. so, wonderful company and wonderful food… a great way to finish our time in Singapore.

And now, we really are on our way to Melbourne…
